Your Personal Walking Buddy
Walking is a wonderful thing, a beautiful part of human movement and deeply part of our evolution. Walking for physical and mental health has been enjoyed for thousands of years and celebrated in every culture throughout history. We have migrated, trekked, hiked, pilgrimaged and explored our world by walking.
For most people, walking for exercise is enjoyable, especially when we walk with a friend. Walking can be healing and is a great way to reconnect with nature. Walking with someone, we talk, share and laugh, and even forget how far we walk, distracted by conversation. Not just a physical exercise, walking engages the mind also in many ways, and if we walk in natural environments, there are many added benefits.
If you enjoy walking, while talking, learning and improving your wellbeing, Walky Talky is for you. Walk with me for minimum 2 hours, while we talk about Rewilding your life. On the walk, we’ll connect with nature, stop for short sessions of gentle stretching, breathing, mindfulness, Tai Chi and various forms of primal movement. I’m very happy to incorporate a coffee on the walk. You can ask questions, share about your life and health goals, and maybe just feel safer walking with someone who cares. This is Right Tribe and a nice oxytocin (happy connection hormone) boost.
2 hour session: $150 (a travel fee applies if I come to you and for some locations)
