  • How many chooks you can have & the legals
  • Best breeds of chickens for eggs & other needs
  • Organic management of chickens
  • Where to get your first chickens
  • A little on keeping ducks
  • Why the chicken crossed the road and much more

Our Feathered Friends Workshop fee is $25 – includes morning tea.

* If you’re attending this workshop and would like to adopt some rescued battery hens, you are welcome to take home some hens with you on the day. You will need to be ready to house the hens in a suitable chicken house and run. Please let me know in advance. A minimum of 3 rescue hens are free if you attend this workshop.
